COLLEGE SCOUTING MATCHES
Varsity and club coaches are invited to view the players live during our COLLEGE SCOUTING MATCHES this Fall-Winter season. Play Squash Academy invites the squash community of the DMV to come together for this opportunity to match skilled players with competitive programs and qualified coaches. We will welcome players and their coaches from any facility/club/program to take place in these showcase matches so they may be seen and recruited by the best College Squash Programs in the country.
How Will It Work?
- We will guarantee 2 matches per player.
- All matches will be played with a face mask and a shield.
- Face Masks need to be worn at all times in the squash court area of each location.
- Mask breaks can be taken in between matches outside.
Along with following rigid facility sanitization protocols, Play Squash Academy will take the temperature of all players and staff participating in the event and will request a Covid-declaration form to be signed prior to entry.

- Covid-safe matchplay between high school players
- Live Streamed on 6 courts to college coaches and scouts
- 12 players on court, 12 players off court refereeing.
- No coaches or parents will be allowed in the center
Play Squash Academy continues to increase our offerings and introduce new programming while maintaining our pledge to prioritize the safety and health of our players and coaches.
During these unprecedented times, it is harder than ever for athletes to showcase their potential, and for coaches to get to know the players that will be the backbone of their future teams.
All Play Squash Academy courts will be livestreamed during this event. College Coaches can watch live or at their convenience as we will be sending out a link with the recorded matches. Play Squash Academy will host all of the video content and retain ownership of all video content.
